We seek to develop policy initiatives to overcome existing obstacles to a fair, efficient, and accessible record clearance system. We will:

• Gather research and data on current challenges
• Share information through an accessible platform
• Identify the legal red-tape preventing record clearance
• Develop recommendations
• Provide training materials and educational workshops

We believe relationship-building and communication are critical in developing shared solutions. Ultimately, the Policy & Education Working Group will develop recommendations that specifically identify opportunities to advance automatic record clearance and streamline the individual application process.
